I’m probably going to sound like a broken record here but seriously, life has been really hectic lately. We are here, there, all over the place and it just seems like nothing is going to allow for a few minutes to myself without taking a nice long vacation away from reality. A girl can dream, right? Leading up to this past weekend I told my husband, ‘WE ARE NOT MAKING ANY PLANS!’ Which really just meant that instead of running around doing things I would be at home doing things. Which is really what happened. We barely left the house but I was busy working on things all weekend long.
I really started thinking about how worn down I have felt lately and that I really need to carve out more time for myself. Time to rest and relax and just recharge. I decided that this week I’m going to treat myself to a nice pedicure so that my feet don’t look so ugly. And even though yesterday I ‘worked’ all day on blog things, I found myself sitting down to my computer yesterday afternoon with a nice cup of tea to write this post.
I’ll be honest. It was sort of nice to just sit for a while.
Which brings me to my point: even if you’re just sitting down with a cup of tea to read or write, it’s a good idea to make time for yourself. I haven’t always been a tea person but there’s just something about a warm cup of tea that really relaxes your soul. I recently discovered that Lipton has some new and improved flavors of teas, perfect for any palate.
Lipton’s new black and herbal varieties and improved green teas refresh the tea experience with bold and stimulating flavors, such as Enticing Chai, Pure Green, Orange Passionfruit Jasmine and Peach Mango. The multi-sensory teas refresh standard tea time, creating an exciting and unique tea-drinking experience. Check out the full line-up of Lipton Green, Black and Herbal tea flavors here. I’ve never really been a fan of Green Tea but knowing about the health benefits of green tea and how it has caffeine for a little extra boost in my afternoon, I was determined to find a green tea that I could enjoy. I discovered the Cranberry Pomegranate Green Tea from Lipton and will never look back. (Seriously, it’s amazing)
