I know that I talked about a splurge breakfast last week but I just wanted to share a more nutrient-rich breakfast today! I have issues with breakfast. Actually, I have issues with better-for-you breakfast options. I don’t eat eggs so it’s difficult getting protein from other sources and I try to stay away from dairy in the morning. Most days I eat a granola bar but I often get bored of this option. My new go-to breakfast is a Banana Walnut Waffle, featuring the perfect balance of protein, whole grains and fruit.
This is honestly the easiest breakfast you will ever make which is why it is so perfect for weekday breakfasts. You start by toasting a Kellogg’s® Eggo® Nutri-Grain® Low Fat Whole Wheat Waffle, top it off with a smear of almond butter, some sliced bananas and a sprinkle of walnuts. It honestly tastes like a slice of banana bread with fewer calories and less fat. It’s a delicious way to start your day and will keep you full until lunch. I picked up my Eggo® Waffles at my local Walmart and you can do the same!
I love that Eggo® Waffles now have colors and flavors from natural sources so that you can feel good about this breakfast. You can find the full line of Kellogg’s® Eggo® waffles at your local Walmart to make your own delicious creations for breakfast! AND if you’re using the Ibotta app you can earn $.50 when you purchase any ONE Eggo® Waffles variety, 10 ct. pack at Walmart here.
Rebate excludes Nutri-Grain® varieties.
It’s time to put down the donuts and start filling your morning with a delicious breakfast packed with good things to get your day started! Happy eating!

- Divide the almond butter and bananas between the 2 waffles and sprinkle with walnuts. Eat immediately.

I love waffles and breakfast so I must try soon this combination you are suggesting. I bet the almond butter gives it a very nice nutty flavor. Thanks for your participation on this shop ~ client
