There’s something about photos of food that I’ve always loved. I like capturing artistic pastries and the beautiful colors on the plate. I’m realizing now that taking photos indoors and styling my own plates is proving to be a bit more difficult! But I know I’ll get the hang of it. I thought I’d share a few photos that I had on file of some of the beautiful pastries from France and also Montreal. You might want to break for a dessert run after this.
This is probably one of my favorite photos of all time, found in a pastry shop in Paris. The colors! Some day I’ll learn to make macaroons.
These photos came from a cheese plate in Montreal. The plate included a goat cheese dusted on the outside with ashes. Yah, it was as weird as it sounds.
And finally, this is from Magnolia Bakery in NYC. Nothing goes better with cupcakes than a cup of ice cold milk!
